Dr. Mario Turanovic
Dr. Mario G. Turanovic received his B.Sc. from the University of Alberta in 1978 and then went on to graduate from the California College of Podiatric Medicine with his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree (D.P.M.) in 1983, upon which he commenced his private practice in Edmonton. Over the course of the last twenty years, Dr. Turanovic was extensively and intimately involved in the evolution of Podiatric Medicine on both the provincial and national stages. Having served as the President of both the Alberta Podiatry Association (2001 – 2013) and the Canadian Podiatric Medical Association (2004 – 2010), Dr. Turanovic embraces all aspects of podiatric medicine and surgery in his practice. He draws from the knowledge of 40 years of practice experience when assessing and treating foot ailments and pathology.
Dr. Julie Enrico
Dr. Julie Enrico has enjoyed providing foot care in Edmonton since 1983. She received her Bachelor’s degree in biology from Ithaca College in New York and went on to receive her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from The California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco, California.
From pain and injuries, to skin and nail problems, Dr. Enrico is committed to the study, diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the foot. She has extensive experience in the prevention and treatment of diabetic foot wounds and is a fellow of the American Professional Wound Care Association. Dr. Enrico continually broadens her medical knowledge while dedicating herself to providing patients with optimal foot care.
Outside her professional life, Dr. Enrico enjoys fitness, tennis, curling and golf.
Dr. Frank Tobinski
Dr. Tobinski has been practising in the Edmonton area since 1989. He received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco, California. His practice focuses on all aspects of podiatry in order to create and maintain an environment for healthy feet. Besides staying current with diagnosing and the treatments of foot disorders, he also enjoys spending time outdoors, golfing, skiing and going on long walks with his family. Dr. Tobinski’s approach in the care of his patients is that “you treat patients like family."
Dr. Richard Bochinski
Dr. Richard Bochinski has been in practice since 1995. A native of Edmonton, Alberta, Dr. Bochinski attended the University of Alberta for his undergraduate studies and proceeded to Podiatric Medical training in San Francisco. After graduation, Dr. Bochinski went on to complete a surgical residency in reconstructive forefoot and rearfoot surgery. His training included rotations through orthopedics, general surgery, radiology, pathology and dermatology.
Dr. Bochinski maintains his clinical practice at the Associated Foot Clinic with hospital privileges at the Vermilion Health Centre, Wainwright Health Centre and St. Mary’s Hospital in Camrose, Alberta. In the hospital setting, Dr. Bochinski is able to provide the option of hospital-based surgical procedures covered by Alberta Health Care and performed under either local anesthetic with sedation or general anesthesia.
When not working, Dr. Bochinski enjoys spending time with his wife and three young children engaging in various sports, including skiing, tennis and soccer. He also maintains a strong interest in professional organizations within the field of Podiatry both on a provincial and national basis. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
Dr. Matthew Turanovic
Dr. Matthew Turanovic was born in Edmonton, Alberta. He studied at the University of British Columbia and the University of Alberta before attending medical school at Samuel Merritt University located in Oakland, California. He then went on to complete a 3-year surgical residency at Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital in the Detroit, Michigan area. During his training, he performed a wide spectrum of elective foot and ankle reconstructive surgeries, foot and ankle trauma surgeries, and diabetic limb salvage operations alongside renowned podiatrists and orthopedic surgeons. He also completed rigorous rotations in plastic surgery, general orthopedic trauma, general surgery and vascular surgery. He sees patients in the Edmonton area for all surgical and non-surgical issues of the foot and ankle. Dr. Matthew Turanovic is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine.
